More than a place to stay. A place for the strong.

Ronald McDonald House Newfoundland and Labrador.

Everyday there are families at our front doors.

We’re proud to support approximately 250 families each year. A study conducted by the Eastern Regional Health Authority found that, of more than 115,000 patients who received care at the Janeway Children’s Hospital, approximately one in five travelled more than 80 kilometres to get there.

We keep families together when they need each other the most.

Not all families live in a location with a children’s hospital. For parents of children who are in need of healthcare, Ronald McDonald House helps to alleviate significant financial burden and provides a crucial community of support while they’re away from home.

Helping families, every day.

Every day families from all over Newfoundland and Labrador face the reality of an ill or injured child. For many of them this means they must travel to St. John’s, to receive specialized pediatric care and treatment at the Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre. Ronald McDonald House provides essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families and promote healing when children need healthcare.
